What is Arena?
Arena is Mythgard's base version of an asynchronous PvP draft.
Why Should You Play Arena?
There are many reasons you should be playing Arena. It is a great way for new players to level the playing field against more experienced players. It is of no cost to enter so long as you juggle your free tickets well (see: Tips for Playing Arena) and the rewards are substantial. All quests that don't specifically outline a separate game mode can be completed in Arena. It is fun and engaging, and allows for a wide variety of strategies that aren't normally seen in Constructed play.
Tips For Playing Arena
Use the boost and cull systems. This means that you should be boosting colors you are committed to and culling colors you absolutely do not want to see.
Use your judgment to pick the most powerful cards within the boundaries of your prior commitments.
You will always play 9 Arena games in any given run unless you retire or abandon it. Every 2 losses, you are awarded 6 new picks. While losing games can be frustrating, don't give up! Your deck can only grow in strength after losing!
Never surrender! Free tickets are given away at a base rate of once every 9 days. This cooldown is decreased by a number of factors from how many Arena games you have played, how long the games are, and how many wins you have achieved. This means that conceding early is actively going to hurt your cooldown timer for a new free ticket! It is entirely possible to infinitely juggle free tickets so long as you keep this in mind.
It is widely considered that Blue and Purple are the best colors to draft in Arena, and that Yellow is the worst color.
Fires of Creation is a terrible path in Arena. The rest are all playable.
Impel and Infuse are often the best powers.

The immediate and expected value of a card when played in relation to its cost
The relative value of a card when drawn
The commitment required to be made to a card's faction in relation to that faction's overall strength in Arena
